Need help fixing up your design or designing something from scratch or fixing a broken piece of equipment? I enjoy answering small questions and also don’t mind completing more complicated projects for a reasonable cost. I have several years of experience designing, repairing and troubleshooting medical systems such as EEG and EKG machines as well as patch-clamp systems for slice neurophysiology. I have an undergraduate degree in computer engineering and have an understanding of system architectures ranging from the Data General Eclipse to the Cell processor. I have had either hands on experience or have substantial literary background on most of the popular eight and sixteen bit microcontrollers. I have practical experience designing linear integrated circuits and have personally fabricated CMOS devices. Finally, I have taken several graduate level electromagnetic theory courses and have used my knowledge in practical situations. Feel free to email me if you have a question, want to discuss something or need some more involved help.
