I am a graduate student at the Center for Neural Engineering (part of Engineering Science and Mechanics department) at the Pennsylvania State University. I am part of the Systems group, where we are investigating electronic control of epileptic seizures and modulation of brain rhythms related to navigation. I fit into this research by designing acquisition and stimulation hardware for the project as well as algorithm design for the stimulation protocols and feedback control systems involved in these projects. Beyond work, some of my engineering related hobbies are embedded system design, FPGA-based system design, RFID and RF system design.

best of luck in completing your doctoral program the posts i have read (via hack a day)of the microblog have always impressed. I’m sure you are aware that the Ohio valley historically is where it all began and remains the center of the universe with regard to medical supply, device manufacture and inventory supply chain corporations, like Baxter, Abbott, J&J, IMS the list goes on. Again best wishes, just wanted to send a note of appreciation, Cheers JPA
Thanks for the note. I am looking around a bit now but I am pretty open as far as jobs go. I will update this space once something solid comes up.
